NEW CLIP: my first clip featuring my Jerry Jones SITAR

Hey guys!

Well, here's the first actual track I've done that features my Jerry Jones Sitar....

I created all of the backing tracks and just did a quick solo on the Sitar...

It's kind of a John McLaughlin with Shakti vibe....

Sjones-Sitar solo McLaughlin/Shakti-like JAM (MIX2)

Hope you like it!

Peace,

Scott

Man, that's sweet. Did it take long to get nice tones with it (i.e. the tone you got in the recording), or was it basically plug it in, and it sounded sweet?

THANKS!!

Bought it at a local store for $600.00 plus tax...

Haven't tried with distortion or wah, but my guess is it would sound really cool, but not like a sitar...

Thanks again,

Scott Jones

The tone was quick and painless...

I used my guitar rig:

Fender Cyber Deluxe direct out inot my an old Fender Twin, mic'ed with SM57's recorded in Protools...

I did do a bit of EQ in post production (in Protools), but it bascially sounded great....

I appreciate you listening....!!!!

what is the backing track? Sounds like it's from a Korg keyboard.

Nice sitar sounds! Is that the baby or the full size?
