oh, lord, save me...

youtube.com/watch?v=UGTfDf4b5oE&feature=rec-HM-r2" target="_blank">http://www.<a href="http://www.jemsi...ture=rec-HM-r2

what is the world coming to..."the future of the blues?".

i shudder at how clueless the reporter, the father and especially the kid are.

it would be different if he could actually play, but he sounds terrible. the poor kid will probably end up yet another bedroom player or get lost in his fame or something.

at least they had satch in there. for like...0.3 seconds.

/end rant

Haha that's my local news station. I remember seeing this on t.v. a few weeks ago or so and thinking "exactly why is this kid news worthy?".

That's great he likes to play, but I've seen plenty of kids his age that are that good or better. You'd expect more from an area that has a lot of music culture for how small the population is.

Don't worry, he'll outgrow the whole blues thing when he's a teen and start a technical death metal band. By that time his chops should be more than up to the task. \m/

What the heck does an 8 year old feel blue about anyway?

I guess he's newsworthy because he's out there gigging at age 8?
