Nice chops and playing! Sounds like you were tuned down a few cents though, but whatever, it was still very nice. I love that Lynch guitar.

Re: OK I Finally uploaded Dokken's The Hunter on youtube!

Yes OLIE, my main man! Nice one. My favourite George Lynch riff!

The playing is cool man, but the tuning completely throws me. Didn't they tune down a half step for this song? I just remember not being able to play along with the record because I don't have a guitar that isn't in regular tuning. Also, I noticed that you play the first chords differently to how I have always done it, and now I'm not sure who's version is right? I threw an audio clip together of myself playing the intro and main riff. Check it:

http://www.zshare.net/audio/dee-the-...-riff-mp3.html

The chord I am playing is lower down than your version. I think it needs that open G. Here's the one I'm playing. I just slide this down a whole step in the intro:

E ----X--- (not played)
A ----5--- (pinky)
D ----5--- (ring finger)
G ----0--- (the open G, even after the slide down)
B ----3--- (bar with first finger)
E ----3--- (bar with first finger)

Thanks for the vid.

Re: OK I Finally uploaded Dokken's The Hunter on youtube!

Yeah I know it was out of tune I tried to down tune it but since I have all my guitars tuned to standard it did not quite work without me resetting the tension in the springs, the guy that helped me upload the video did not have time for all that drama since he had to go! oh well I will try to rerecord it in the future!!!

I tried to hear your version but I couldn't because my PC-Cillin sofware closed it down since it had some kind of virus...?!? anyway I do play an open G chord but not in the main riff! it is far too complicated to make it sound right and in the studio he actually hormonizes that chord anyway, he plays G5 power chors on the lower harmony and on the upper harmony an F/G
power chord. I will rerecord this tune with the proper tuning!!!

Re: OK I Finally uploaded Dokken's The Hunter on youtube!

There's no way my file contains a virus! LOL. It's an mp3, they can't contain viruses unless it was another file cloaked as an mp3. You probably got a false positive.
