One of my pieces

Well, since I opened my big mouth and made some comments on the music I heard here, Here is your chance to critque me. Be honest please.
I used my 72 Penco Paul and 87 Aria Pro through a Digitech RP-3, and recorded it to a Fostex X-88 (I think) Multi track, and added the keys and did the editing thru Adobe Audition 1.0.

Sounds good, I like it. It would be good for a movie.

Re: One of my pieces

IMO the 70s hippy thing is fun - thoough not quite sure i would classify this as that. good jam music man - love the chorus with the clean and distorted signals.

wish you did a little more solo stuff though - it had a really good rythm part for that

Re: One of my pieces

I dig that, it seems like there is something missing, like some lead instrument/vocals. It did have that Jefferson Airplane vibe to it, I enjoyed that. Cool instrumentation too.

Re: One of my pieces

on reflection, you're right.

substitute the pizza delivery man with a pot-dealing flower child.

LMAO!!!!!!!!! Absolutly brilliant reply!
As for the soloing, or lack of, well, it was written for lyrics, but since I've been banned by the ASPCA to go anywhere near a mic.....
