That's it. I'm taking all of my strings off. Except for one.

Re: One String Willie
Screw that man!! I'm taking off every last one of my strings, and I'm gonna tear the ass out of this guitar. No mistakes at all, and it'll be the best damn no string solo ever.
I'm also going to play it with my feet. Wait until you hear the tone I get with no strings and feet on the fretboard...
I thought that was RE...wait for it...

Re: One String Willie
Sorry to derail the thread, but did anyone ever see the early ESP Max Cavalera model that came strung with only 4 strings, cause Max said he didn't need the top 2?
I'm gonna burn all my guitars and amps, and stand on the ashes while I hum a tune. Surely that will make me 100 times cooler than the dude with 1 string?
What's next, the piano with only 1 key? What about a drumkit with no skins or drumsticks? Maybe get a saxaphone, but glue all the keys shut?
Rock on! (with 1 string... if your cool enough

Re: One String Willie
one key on the piano is a lot dirfferent. with one string, you still have every note in every key available. I think with some imagination and some skill, you could play something interesting on one string.

Re: One String Willie
You know, I thought it wasn't so bad!
After all the bit most people copy (and play in music shops) from Eruption is only on one string... Although he did graduate to more strings for the intro to Hot For Teacher

Re: One String Willie
I can only play on one string with my willy. Honest.
Max is doing another 4 stringer apparently. Not sure what sort of thickness the neck will be, but I'd be fairly uncomfortable if it was standard spacing and the surplus wood removed.

Just quietly, I was joking, but don't tell anyone. It can be our little secret.
Rock on!
