But only the first one shows him really shreddin it up... and even then he was just playing the song and not doing his really flashy stuff.

X-Factor? seriously: please explain... [my english sux, remember?]

For the tone, was the 'pure' JCM900 only and the Bad Horsie, Marshall 4x12 1960A cab, micd' with Shure SM57, no plugins.

Thanks so much man! I didn't make any videos with the 770 because I sold you a fake guitar. LOL j/k of course. No, but seriously, I really don't know why. I guess maybe cause I was doing a bunch of stuff way up by the 22nd and 24th frets and its hard to do that with the old-style neck joint. Now I regret not making a video with it. Send me back my guitar

You opened a thread once about creating a logo for your band and gave us some options to choose from. I think it was called X-Factor or am I wrong?

Sometimes the most simple setup give you the best tone. Just another proof supporting the fact that 99% of your sound is in your fingers. Having a JCM900 helps as well

I find that whole "self-prostitution" thing on youtube rather odd.

There always are (and always will be) 2823847234 people who can shred like me and 1238128 who prolly can do it better plus 23122381293123 who are worse and leave bad comments...

I rather focus on doing my first music video with my bands new song... But damn does that take long...

One could say that filming yourself while shredding is the naffest of all things naff - but for me, seeing some great home-made shredding on youtube has given me the inspiration and energy to raise my game - and my playing has improved because of it.

Hey, maybe one day I'll grace the youtube screens and show you girls a trick or two
