Paul Gilbert sweep picking with his TEETH!!
Hey folks,
I just manged to get a hold of some japanese heavy metal game show with
Marty Friedman
and Paul Gilbert as guests. This thing is hilarious but here's probably the sickest part of the whole video,
Paul Gilbert sweep picking
with his TEETH!! I've seen a lot of people play guitar with thier teeth, but this is definitely a first. Anyhow, I'm pretty sure everyone wants to check it out so I went ahead and just put the teeth sweeping part on my site. ENJOY!!
http://www.animetor.com/guitars/teethsweep.avi
For the kids out there, *seriously* don't try this at home.
Cheers,
Budd

Thanks for the link man,
My old guitar teacher said she saw some Japanese DVD of Yngwie playing Eruption with his teeth, I'd be interested in finding that too.

Haha. It's not real, it's pre-recorded, he just taps on a pedal and holds the guitar in front of his face. He explained it at a recent clinic that I attended.

That makes a lot more sense. Gotta admit, even though he faked it, it still looks impressive.
elcid: The video with Yngwie playing eruption with his teeth is actually on his Young Guitar "Play Loud" video.

I wouldn't put money on Yngwie playing eruption with his teeth...who could actually tremolo pick that fast with their teeth?

Re: Paul Gilbert sweep picking with his TEETH!!
I saw Yngwie do it a few years back in Atlanta - its not perfect when he does it but its pretty close. I think on the tremolo picked part he is rocking the body partially and thats how he gets it up to speed.

Re: Paul Gilbert sweep picking with his TEETH!!
Yngwie did do it with his teeth. I watched an instructional video which he did for the japanese market....being a 14 year old seeing someone do something like that just blew me away...it still does now.
BUT THAT PG THING IS FOOKIN' SICK!
Where can I download the whole video?
Thanks for sharing.
