Laser level the neck to body before I drill the neck holes.
Getting there

Nice! I like the laser level. It's looking better and better as it's going along.

LOL I don't know what your looking at. Maybe it's the pink lamp. There is a bottle of polish in front of it with a polishing cloth on top.
Here she is with strings. It plays great and sounds AMAZING unplugged. I don't know if it's the fact that I used laquer instead of the poly thats found on most new guitars nowdays but this guitar is so resonant it's unbelieveable. I can't wait to get some pickups in there.

Re: pics of my strat project.
Almost done. I need to get some spacers for under the pots. The knobs are too high. Correct capacitor for the tone pot, a switch tip, then new strings, in a month or two a final wet sand and polish. Maybe some sheilding in the
pickup cavity
. I'm going to try it like this first and see how it is.
Plays very very nice. From my first day playing it I'd say it sounds great but I think I'm going to want a humbucker in the bridge. I am going to give it a chance like this first though.
btw, the pickups are Fender USA Vintage.
