Awesome song, but it sounds like drunken frat boys who cant play at some random keg party. Seriously ive seen better efforts from confessed amateurs.

Re: Possibly the worst thing I've ever heard

I'm sticking it out. Page screws up a LOT on this, yet even so I'm kind of amused he wouldn't start off the song on stage with them, and only came out in time for his solo.

Have I heard worse? Hell, I've played in bands that sound worse than this, and I'd be shocked if I wasn't the only one here. It's not abysmal, just pretty uninspired.

How embarassing, they dressed the same

I thought Durst's 15 minutes was up.

It's nice to see Jimmy Page hasn't learned to play clean since Led Zepplin ended.

I have that impulse everytime Tom Petty comes on the radio.

skjfisdjfoi!W#@

I remember in high school turning the radio on, and there was Limp Bizkit on KSJO, the classic rock station. Fred freakin cookie ass Durst. So I turned it off and waited five minutes. I turned it back on, and boom, no talent sewer child Kid Rock. I screamed and yanked the wiring out from the back of the radio (the dash was partially removed). Months later I sold the car.

Fast forward four years and I'm in college and I've bought aother car. I'm commuting home, and turn on the radio...

BREAKDOWN, blah blah blah blah... BREAKDOWN...

8DK#$W@SJ9*# whining nancy Tom Petty...

I turned the radio off for TWO WEEKS... then coming home again, on the Bay Bridge, right at treasure island, the San Francisco skyline before me, I dared turn on the radio on again:

(whinier than before, I swear) BREAKDOWN...

I screamed and turned the radio off again. That weekend I soldered my CD player to the radio so that I might never have to hear Fred Durst, Kid Rock, or Tom Petty again.

Fred Durst, nobody loves you. No one wants your biscuits. Go away.

Re: Possibly the worst thing I've ever heard

1) durst has a 1/3 octave range
2) on top of that handicap, he can't sing in tune
3) page's 12-string wasn't in tune ( and why did he bring an acoustic
doubleneck to a one-tune cameo in which he played only the top half???)
4) the a**hole vibe from the entire scene was palpable. I'm not sure that
most of the audience even knew who LZ was, let alone "Thank You"
5) Page's playing was nowhere near what he did on LZII (but it hasn't
been in close to 30 yrs, of course)

After watching this, I choose to just live in the past, where Led Zeppelin,
indeed, Rulez...

Re: Possibly the worst thing I've ever heard

Jimmy's signature sloppy playing was extra sloppy. It sounded like his rythm went to hell.

Fred Durst in general. I'm not fond of that man at all.

The fact that I wasted some time watching.

LOL, yes I should have been more prepared, but honestly I was exspecting a kid plugged into a crate solid state or line six destroying what ever the latest craze is on the radio at an ungodly volume with his proud papa or his baggy pant wearin' buddies standin' next to him. Brings back Guitar Center flashbacks doesnt it.
