He does the get out of my yard arpeggio's in it looks like standard tuning with complete cleanness which is insane, I've watched a few of his vids but he is pretty damn good.

What's so amazing? he isn't doing what PG did, he's just sweeping with garden variety arps.

Re: Pretty good Youtube player
I thought he did an awesome job on it to be honest. I'm not shy about giving somebody some props for a technically challenging piece. Perhaps you do, Crevis.
By the way, did you ever put up a song on your song thread?

That's a self contradiction if I ever saw one.
If you're that desperate for me to validate myself then would it matter that I got a A for my audition for the Ba of music (performance) and was one of 3 with automatic inclusion?
There is at least 100 people ON THIS FORUM that can do what this guy is doing, I'm not saying he isn't good I'm saying it's nothing to be oo'ing and arr'ing about. If you celebrate mediocrity then that's exactly where you will be.

Are you saying PG's version was harder? Trust me, it isn't. Hammering on symmetrical patterns on three strings with two fingers is infinitely easier.
As has been said, maybe you can post your version and show this guy how it's done or just be quiet.

It doesn't matter how hard it was, PG had a gimmick and it was cool,
Insane
string skipping
and a human capo is cooler than garden variety triad arps.
Sweeping it took away anything cool about it.

Are you saying I didn't put one up on YOUR thread that YOU created? Perhaps you should put your reading glasses on mate, cause it's there.
So yea, lets see you tackle Paul's song.
Oh, and what's so big about getting an A for audition. Let's here it so we can say, "Oh, that's an awesome piece....way to go!" You could've played a 2 chord folk song for all we know.
So what do you plan on doing with your BA in music performance? Teach us how it's done for real?
