BECAUSE GUYS LIKE YOU KEEP ON COPYING THEM AND THE ARTIST DOESN'T GET ANY ROYALTIES SO THEY CAN'T LOWER THE PRICE!
:P Just kiddin'! Well, I don't know if that plays part with such instructional DVD's, but it might be.
BTW. I don't have it and neither do I have any copies.

or you could think it this way,
with all the mp3 and Kazza point to point sharing stuff,
record companies needs to lower their budget in producing and selling them for 50% less, I think alot more people would buy cds.
just my thoughts

Yeah, I hoped that, but I gave up. They seem to put a part of that 50% in the research of new 'protection' which in the end will always be cracked somehow.

Scientists at Havard I think it was, claim now that sharing on the internet of mp3's and etc. through Kazaa and likes isn't the reason for the record companies problem. It only makes up a very very small portion of the money they lose!
But then again if your a canadian I heard then you don't have fear anything because sharing isn't the same as distribution which is illegal.
Regards
André

Well, beacause people don't seem to be willing to buy enough CD's because they downloaded it already.

You know, I still buy CDs, but I always buy them used from someplace like CDNow or Amazon (they might actually be the same place). I was looking there yesterday for something, and it about $2.50 in like new condition. So, screw Kaz** , buy the CDs, just get 'em cheap. I know the atrists don't get paid twice if the CD sells twice, but I can only do so much. I'm only one person for cryin out loud!

I have the book version of the Holdsworth and it is truly great! I would love to buy the tape as well but knowhere in the UK has it.
The book isn't too overpriced I got it cheaper than most "album" tab books!

Stop going off topic,
anyway...
The
Allan holdsworth
video ISNT worth paying for, its merely im talking in a boring voice, and a bit of live performance
scott henderson
- melodic phrasing is a pretty decent video
scott henderson - jazz fusion, i dont like as much
but agreed, definatly not worth £30-40 ... anyway i cant even find them in the shops
the only one ive seen si eric johnson

Re: Scott Henderson & Allan Holdsworth's REHInstructional vi
Well, I'm darned late on this thread, but I do agree, it's not much of an instructional, and I don't find Al boring at all, he's a very humble chap who clearly lacks confidence. The playing more than makes up for it anyway. I have the video. It's great, but don't expect to be learning his licks anytime soon.
