Ahh, thanks for that...looks like he's actually Italian...guess Italians do it better (Vai, Satch, Petrucci,...)

Yup, Italian, not French.

Check out his "So What" vid - great holdsworthian technique there. He sort of goes into overly shreddy mode at times and abuses the bar, but the playing is still pretty impressive.
