Re: Some original music by me

Just listened to the rar file contents. Being a drummer at heart, I like the beats. I liked the riffs as well but they were hard to hear. The songs have a hint of funk and they (for me) are begging for a slap and pop bass line. They're certainly better than the electronic dance music I heard a lot of at hate. The thing I'm not quite in favour of is that the electronic component of the music tends to be 1) overpowering the guitars (by intention?) and 2) a bit repetitive considering all the tracks. You've given the tracks different names, so I assume they're all different songs. Other than that there's not a lot to comment on, as I don't think the music's developed end-to-end.

I would certainly like to hear these songs with a bass in addition to the guitar, with the electronic part a bit further in the back of the mix and with more development.

Does that make sense?

Edit: listened with notebook speakers
