Re: Some prog metal mp3s...
Shadow Gallery is a good band. I have known them for years. I have known most of the bands on the first page for years, but there are some Symphony X songs I never heard (like Egypt which is a great song!). All the bands on the second page except Ayreon and Porcupine Tree are new to me... I'm really liking Kamelot (I never bothered to listen to them before for the same reason that guy said!)

Re: Some prog metal mp3s...
Yes, maybe Kamelot was the hidden jewel of that page...
...I also visited their homepage, and was very sad to download their recent mp3 and videos only to find that they are completely sucked in this trend of oversimplified arrangements and solos (if any), uber-heavy bass frequencies and pretending to be epic while trying to sound like Alice in Chains or Papa Roach...

Re: Some prog metal mp3s...
I've heard their newest stuff was all whiney ballads. Most of the stuff on the site is not too bad. At least the older stuff.

No problem
We seem to have a lot of metal fans and progressive fans. Put the two together, and...

Re: Some prog metal mp3s...
I'm gonna plug newer Virgin Steele stuff, not quite sure if it counts as prog but they definitely go for the epic concept album idea (last 5 cds are all like that...).
