Speed up help!!! - video (slow) content

So ive been playing this for a week - to be honest its not my bag and im new to sweep picking - im learning it for the technique - but I just cant get past the 145 bpm barrier

My right forearm aches after a while and ive been stuck at 145 bpm for a couple of days with no improvement.
I video'd myself playing it to see if I was making any silly errors but cant see anything..

is it just a matter of time or am I doing something wrong ?
I can play the first section (alternate picking) at 200bpm but the second (sweep picking) section is stuck at 145

heres the vid. opinions ?

To be honest with you mate I can't realy find any fault in your technique. Yeah the 3 string sweeps are in need of some work but as you said, you've only been playing it for a week. It'll take you a lot longer than that to get your head round it.

Pronounce each note in your sweeps.
Stay realaxed.
Just practice 3 string sweeps on their own for a while.
and don't pressure yourself into a corner. It's only been a week, you'll be fine.

Try having a rest from it for a day then go back to it.I find that sometimes works. Its like you become so obsessed with improving that you subconsciously tense up more than you should and your mind isn't correctly focused.
But yeah,like Eggy says,time is everything.Rome wasn't built in a day
Keep up the good work and don't get dis-heartened,thats some nice playing there.
