Spidey returns with a Vai cover!

Hey, y'all. Well, it's been 3 and 1/2 weeks since having my Carpal Tunnel surgery on both hands, and I've bounced back a lot faster than I expected. I know, I promised it would be a while before I'd post another song, but I can't help it

I've recorded a cover of Mr. Vai's "Sisters" using the backing track from guitarbt.com. This is my first recording since the surgery. I'd been trying for a while to play this and it was frustrating because apparently the CTS was preventing my hands from doing what I wanted them to, so now I can play it better than I could before. It's still not perfect, but it's the only Vai song I can play from beginning to end

careful man, you may feel like things are going good but you could be causing damage again. My mom just recently had surgery for her carpal tunnel. She thought she was doing good then she started using her hand and it swelled up again. Don't wanna rain on your parade bro, just wanna make sure you're not tempting fate. I'd hate to see you have a relapse

I'm keeping the playing down to about an hour at the most in a stretch so I don't try to do too much for long periods of time. I sure as hell don't want to push it yet

Errr, I would much rather have CTS than loosing a finger/s or a whole hand, now THATS a nightmare...

Jeez...If I'd lost a whole hand, I'd have pawned my guitars off for enough money to buy a gun. I'd only need one hand to use one of those!
