Started working on a new instrume(n)tal

Last week I started working on a new song. It's still rough and needs some balancing. But hey, it's work in progress!
I know some parts are recorded too hard according some unwanted noise. I'm working on that.
Any comments or advice?

wow that was some heavy ****!

the begging was a bit emo-ish, the song isn't really my cup of tea, but i guess it had some nice ideas and playing in it Keep working at it

Btw after listning to it the begining (the really heavy part) really dosen't suite the song..you should leave it out and jsut start from the soft build up part thingy.

Hey, good idea. I'll try that.
I like dynamics in my songs and try to be a little original. That's why I put that heavy part in the front. Will give it a shot though leaving that part.
Thanx for listening.

Anybody any other ideas???

Re: Started working on a new instrume(n)tal

First of all awesome song.

I would boost the lead guitar on the left channel more. At :45 into the song it comes in kinda soft. At 1:05 where it's softer more ballad, it's easier to pick out, but I'd still boost the left lead more. Right lead at 1:05 is easier to hear.

I love the way it gradually kicks back in at 2:14 with just a high hat to start, then builds up. Maybe double that idea in the beginning to build into the thrash part. Then the song begins as a slow build up to hard core instead of suddenly in your face. That might be what the other guy was referring to.

Also, was there any bass in there? It was hard to tell.

Again, awesome hard tune. Loved it.
