Steve Vai vids.

I hope I'm posting this in the correct forum.

Can anyone give me the names of all music videos including Steve?
Those I am aware of are:

Solo:
ALS dvd/video
G3 dvd/video

I would love to
For the Love of God
The audience is listening
Down deep into the pain
In my Dreams with You

DLR:
Yankee Rose

Whitesnake:
Fool for your loving
Now You're Gone

Well, that's all I know. Please help me

There's also the Crossroads video and DLR Goin' Crazy (where Vai uses his flame guitar) and Alcatrazz - God Bless Video

Unofficially there's tonnes of stuff around on the web (file sharing and newsgroups)

7 string demo
Anatomy of a song (from Guitar.com)
Carvin G3 stuff (from Carvin website)
Expo '92 - Liberty, Greasy Kids stuff and For the Love of God
G3 live animal
G3 Live in Toronto 11-07-2001
G3 with John Petrucci and Joe Satriani - La Grange
Guitar Solo From G3
Headbangers Ball
Live in Bulgaria
Live on David Letterman - Ballerina and solo
Rock Around the Bay Tokyo 1997
Tonight Show with Vai band
Alcatrazz - Jet to Jet
With Mike Kennelly and Dweezil Zappa - Dirty Love
Pro tools disk
Goin' Down, My Guitar Wants to Kill You, Red House - live in Shepherd's Bush London 1997
Live At Shepherd's Bush 1997

The Live In Bulgaria and Live in Toronto 2001 are absolutely killer gigs - Live in Tokyo is excellent quality but not a great performance.

Thanks for that list, monkeyboy. What I really wondered though was whether there were more official videos around that I had missed.
I'll look for that DLR vid.
I suspect there's at least one more Whitesnake vid, but I don't know which.
Anyone?

There's a Pro Tools promo DVD that's got about 5 mins of Steve Vai using a plug in called beat detective and playing a bit of guitar over the loop he creates. It's very new and quite cool.

Well worth the download.

BTW the clip's 55 megs

There's one other official video that I know of that's got Vai on it. It's called Zappa's universe and Vai plays on a track called dirty love.

Here's a link below:

John,

Thanks for the info. I've got The Palladium gigs but not seen trying to grow me a chin before. I'll search that one out.

Couple of new videos come to light recently available on Winmx:

Alcatrazz Power Live 1985 (Steve Vai in Japan)
Steve also guests on a Andy Timmons Ibanez at 90 video (also Paul Gilbert guests on this)

Both worth grabbing an excellent quality while we're all waiting for the DVD

Man I recently downloaded Rock Around The Bay '97, which is killer. The image is perfect and so is the sound quality.
I also have Live in Bulgaria on CD Rom, which is godly. But the sound quality and the image aren't all that great. I wish I found it on DVD. I know it exists (bootleg obviously) since Mike Portnoy mentioned buying it in Japan.
monkeyboy: how's Live At Shepherd's Bush? Where did you find it and where did you find the live in Toronto 2001? Thanks
