Steve's guitar shop.

I'm not sure where this footage was taken. It's either the Mothership or the Harmony Hut but youe get a chance to peek at some of the guitars Steve has in his rack and you also see a couple of cool little improv chops.

Enjoy

Re: Steve's guitar shop.

I shot that video, along with the Freak Show Excess videos, and I'm unimpressed that someone thought it was okay to upload them to YouTube without checking with us first.

As is always the case with YouTube, people post links to videos and often comment "i have no idea where it came from"...

Grrrr...

Sorry Mikey.

I honestly had no idea at all that this was the case. I am regular youtube uploader and there's all kinds of rules stating that all videos must be of your own work. I understand that some people upload music videos/ live footage/ instructional vids etc but in the case of this camcorder video I pressumed it was reasonable to think this might have been the youtube users own footage. I certainly didn't know that this was your footage and that it had been uploaded without your permission.
I have removed the link from my original post so's not to cause offence.

Lock her up mods.

Re: Steve's guitar shop.

is there a procedure to have a video REMOVED from youtube? (ie. like getting out the pliers and blowtorch needed to get an inappropriate/fraudulent e-bay auction shut/removed)? ...glen

There really isn't much you can do. Even if you get them to take it down, another one will pop up just as quick.

Re: Steve's guitar shop.

Yeah, I used to contact them and they were helpful about taking things down, but there is no stopping the same video being re-uploaded.

I'm waiting to see someone file suit against YouTube for being distributors of copyrighted content they don't own...

Thanks for removing the link.

There's no way to download directly off youtube though, it's stream only. You have to use other programs to download from there, which I'm far too lazy to do. I doubt you could do much about it.
