Stringed Sonic Experiments: The Call of Cthulu
Hi,
I like to compose odd things. This is a thing inspired by the H.P. Lovecraft story of the same name: The Call of Cthulu.
http://www.mediara.com/jeanpaul/The%...f%20Cthulu.mp3
I hope you like it. It's certainly not everybodies cup of tea, that's for sure
But if you would like to hear something out of the ordinary, check it out. No shredding, just sit down and let it come over you. Let me surprise you
Silences are an essential part of the piece, so just sit back and open your ears.
Regards,
JP

Well, it's obviously quite processed. Let's see, I used the Jem7BRMR (I broke a string on my UV, and didn't feel like fixing it),
bridge pup
(Breed).
In fact it has a pile of FX (in this order):
Feedbacker
Compressor
Limiter
OverDrive
PreAmp
Equalizer
Harmonizer
Triggered AutoWah
Noise Surpressor
Volume Pedal
Distortion
Stereo Tap Delay
Reverb
And it's all just one guitar.
It all combines to a real *massive* sound.
Regards,
JP

That's correct, they have indeed done a song called like that. RTL is my favorite Metallica Album by a distance, by the way

That was a very cool sound you created there. Were you using an MFX or pedals?

Yes, MFX, a Roland GT5 to be precise.
