The Orange Hour

A bassist friend of mine has ProTools. He burned a copy of this track, The Orange Hour, which I then imported to my own ProTools session. This was an ultra-easy was to collaborate.

There's a bar here that has an open stage night, during which they play A Clockwork Orange on the TVs. I think that's where the title comes from.

That was quite cool, although I'm not a fan of the style (whatever that is ).

Your picking is amazing, great chops dude!

Some cool stuff going on. The phaser defnitely gets annoying and sometimes it appears it is being used as a crutch to overcome some deficiencies.

Another thing to work on is building your solos. There are no real high points and low points. A good grammar analogy would be the playing sounds like a run-on sentence.

On a positive note there are some cool tremolo bar techniques.

I figured you would rather have constructive critcism than everyone saying how great it is; after all that is the point of posting stuff for feedback .

Deficiencies? I don't have any deficiencies.

No, I'm kidding. Seriously, thanks for the input and for taking the time to listen. I had a band going for last couple of weeks, but the drummer bugged out to join a Kiss tribute band (if you can imagine how insulting that was ), so this forum has once again become my only outlet. The much decried phaser sound is from pod setting 9d with a high gain amp model. I'll try easing back on the effects return next time and see if I can clean it up a bit.

Thanks for the nice compliment, zEr0.
