I can still remember the first time I saw Keneally walk out at the start of the
Fire Garden concert here in Aus, wearing a big purple hat and dark glasses....walking out and staring at everyone in the pit... Followed by Vai...
I remember the concert vividly. My first. I was also "not supposed to be there" as it was an over 18's only concert in Coogee, Sydney. I was 17 - looking all of 14, and it was the night of Valentines day.
Everything that happened was meant to be. The only reason I walked straight in was because the pub/club that the concert was in had a power outage (the whole block had a power outage), all the bouncers were inside frantically trying to keep things safe inside (v. dark), and/or trying to get power somehow to the venue.
Anyway, back on topic. I agree, T-mac and Sheehan are great. But the overall sound of the Fire Garden tour was better I think. Well, to me anyway. I dunno.
What does everyone else think?
