Hey all! New to the boards. Just wanted to say what's up to everyone and start it off by posting a clip of me playing Hot for Teacher. Let me know what you think. Enjoy!

Good one !!!

What gear did you use ? (to play and record)

Any possibility to have a link to the backing track ?

If you have other covers to post, don't hesitate !!! I will soon (when I'm home alone, my girlfriend doesn't like the tone of my Egnater cab ) post the cover of decadence dance (Extreme) I'm working on.

Thanks eddie 42! I used a stock 1970 Marshall 100watt Super Lead and went straight into (no pedals) a Marshall 4x12 straight Cab with 25 watt Greenback reissue speakers. It's the 1960 Classic model cab. I had all tone controls on 10 including the volume, SCARY LOUD LOL! The guitar i used was an Ibanez Roadstar II with a Seymour Duncan 59 in the bridge. There's no backing track because my band played the whole song live and recorded it straight to cassette. We used a Tascam 8-track to channel the mics through and added a little reveb and delay to whatever needed it. I have a few more covers i'll post soon!

For the (recording) equipment used, that is (for me at least) even more impressive. Keep it up, and keep posting...

That was very nice indeed! I really enjoyed that - so much so I am going to put that one on my Creative Zen MP3 player. I really loved your tone, very "brown sound". Overall, an awesome cover of one of my favourite Halen tracks!
