What do y'all think about this shredder?

I really liked it. It reminds me a lot of old school Joey Taffola from 1987's "Out of the Sun".

What do y'all think? I think he definitely deserves better than 7.8. There are some real God-awful sh*heads on there that are rated higher and you KNOW they're rigging their votes.

I think his shredding technique is good. His playing doesn't touch me like Joey Tafolla playing does though. Still, a good player.

Yeah, of course, dude. Taffola was brilliant in technique and feel whether he was in his 80's Neo-Classical phase or his later and more recent bluesier phase.

I think that in 60 seconds you can't afford to fit in any real soulful bends so they're just trying to fit in as much technical acrobatics as possible. That one contestant Omar Cay is really good. Check him out if you get the chance. I just think his vibrato could have been better.

So dudes please share the ones from the Dean Shredfest that y'all think are good. I don't have time to go through them all and I've certainly seen some really bad ones.

Dragiani from here on our forum has a really good one up. I think Omar Cay's is good.

It's shredder search, if you yawn over everything shred you should rather not click. I have not seen many with as good technique as the dude in the first link. I'd say it's top notch. One minute is not long to show what you can do.

Actually no, he was asking about that one shredder not about shredding in general. When you get older and learn to appreciate what really counts you might start to appreciate stuff like SRV. He is the real deal my friend.

Didn't say I didn't like SRV. The topic says shred, the video he linked to was from Shredder Search. He asked for other names on the Shredder Search site. If that for you sounds like he's asking for SRV, be my guest. But I don't think he'll be satisfied with that video.

Who knows. Maybe I'm older than you already. Then you must start to appreciate shred.
