I've never heard arpeggios and guitar playing like this before. Has anyone heard of this guy?

yea, that is some sick up playing there, really inspiring even.

His tone could be a little better imo, that's the only critisim

sounds decent to me. I typically hate these shred videos, but this almost has an old Skyscraper-era Vai feel to it.

Yea, it looks more like a carvin, with the inlays and just the whole body, rather then a kramer.

Thats one from 1990.

In 1988-89, the headstocks were more Jackson/Charvel shaped than the one in that picture, but thats the best picture I could find. From the information on www.carvinmuseum.com his looks to be a 1988 model.

This video has given me serious Carvin gas.

Shredding on a Les Paul just looks weird. You get so used to seeing Jacksons, Ibanez, Charvel etc; when some one full out shreds on a Lester just looks weird.

Reminds me of jason becker tone wise especially. Maybe not in note choice but overall tone and technique definitely jasonesque.
