Whitesnake Live '90

Hi all,

I've just listened to a recording of this concert which included guitar solos by Vandenberg and Vai, as well as a Tommy Aldridge drum solo. I was wondering if anyone had the possibly bootleg video of either Castle Donnington or Buffalo NY, and what you thought of it. The year was 1990 and it sounded like a Slip of the Tongue tour. I wasn't too interested in the album but the live performance sounded ok.

Thinking of getting it off of that evil auction site.

the buffalo bootleg has horrible video. i had it and passed along to another jemsiter... it's not worth listening/watching imho unless you REALLY like bootlegs. might look ok on a 13" tv in mono sound... glen

I have the Albany,NY concert, on VHS, PAL. And is a crap, but you can see Vaiīs solo and a bunch of songs, but the sound and the video isnīt good enough.

OK thanks. I guess I won't get it then. I'm really trying to "re-capture" my youth... and all these road blocks.

You know, if you want, i can convert to Divx and send you by FTP, DCC or something. Tell me if you want.

Hi Otis,

If you have the time, and an ftp server, I would love to find a way to see that show. I already have a copy of the sound side of Castle Donnington, and after playing with the EQ, it came out reasonably okay.

If you can't find a way, don't worry about it. Sometimes imagining the video is good enough.
