don't think anyone is not impressed with the speed. I certainly agree that he can play damned fast. I also like the fact that he can do that with a poker face.

Case in point, Pablo Gilberto is damned fast, but he's far from boring. You CAN be technically competent, incredibly fast, and INTERESTING all at the same time. This guy ain't it, though. Very accomplished playing, but super dull.

Different strokes for different folks, I suppose, but that is the very definition of "noodling".

Did anyone notice his secret for playing fast? The action on his strings wass so low he didn't even have to apply pressure to the strings in order for him to get notes out of them.

Yeah, the action is so low he only needs to give his guitar a dirty look and the strings will fret scale shapes.
