I don't know...I've never been THAT overly impressed with this video. It's pretty cool, but the tone is awful.

I've seen this video before, he's got some pretty nice chops. Looks like frets 15+ are scalloped, or is that just the lighting?

Ehh, he's ok. Kinda reminds me of myself actually...just a slower version. But give him a few years of practice and he'll be shredding as fast as me.

I like the tone. It's different, and single coil tones rock. I find them more soulful than the usual thick-sounding humbucker tone that most people go for.

The guy is a good player. Nice rhythmic kinda lead style, if you know what I mean (check the run at 0:44). Insanely amazing, though? No way. Those words are reserved for the likes of Shawn Lane, Allan Holdsworth, Brett Garsed, etc.
