I own "In Absentia" - great album. In fact, I just saw these tour dates last night and found out they're playing Montreal in May - I will so be there...

Check out Lightbulb Sun, kewl album and has some great songs.
Last chance to evacuate Earth (before it is recycled) is one of my faves.
Its interlaced with audio from the leader of the Heaven's Gate fools.
neat song though.

Anyway, glad to see they have some followers, I've heard the name for a while, but only in the last 2 years really gotten into them.

Re: Any Porcupine Tree fans?

Yes, I have also known the name for a while, downloaded a couple of songs, but only bought something recently. I'll pick up more CDs by them when I have some time/cash, thanks for the recommendations Bamm

Pawel, check out "Signify"- it's waaaay different from In Absentia, but the contrast will give you an idea of the scope of PT's (er, Steve Wilson's) musicianship.

Re: Any Porcupine Tree fans?

I own just about every Porcupine Tree album...I love this band. If you haven't already, be sure to check out "Blackfield." It was a side project with just Steven and some other guy, I think. Really amazing stuff there too.

Is the show in "Boulder" mean Boulder, Colorado?

yup!
"I remember piano lessons
The hours in freezing rooms
Cruel ears and tiny hands
Destroying timeless tunes"

Great tune.
