anyone gonna see satch for his SWTA 20th anniversary gigs

so tempting to go to one of these, i just saw satch with the g3 gig a few months back but...

why not again, curses its either LA, NY or Chicago and I live in San Antonio, not exactly a hop skip and a jump in either direction, C town is my best shot though logistically with my days off and the plane ride and everything, possibly the cheapest as I was already eyeballing airfares

grrr i really wanna go, why couldn't they have chosen something a wee bit closer to home

As I mentioned elsewhere, I have absolutely no interest in going, but I may go just because other people cant. Then you all can know that Im there hating it while you all would kill to go.

Just not a fan. I cant deny he's a great guitar player, I just couldnt listen to a whole CD or sit through an entire concert.

I think it was a stupid idea to put out a tour consisting of 3 venues. I love Joe but whomever suggested doing 3 shows was a moron in the whole sense of the word. Although he'll probably be done with the G3 by the time the SWTA remastered edition comes out, his fans shouldn't get jiffed like that.

I think it's great. JOE is the promoter, ticket agent, and everything else. All proceeds go directly to him. He'll probably make as much off that 3 stop tour as he would on a whole regular US tour.

I cant imagine many stops outside of 3 big cities would be that worth it for him. I dont think that one venue in Nebraska would even cover his travel expense.

Haha, I'M VERY OFFENDED. Just kidding - I don't care at all if you guys aren't fans of Vai or Satch. Everyone can listen to whatever they want - the only thing that I hate is when people bash other people's music taste.
