Did you notice when they were taking down the stage afterwards, that all of Satch's road cases for his Marshalls say "JSX" on them in foot high letters? I thought that was funny.
He threw enough into the balcony, I'd be surprised if you didn't get one!

Chad leaves no doubt, when a Chickenfoot show is over, you know it

Look's like going to the MB HOB show this weekend isn't a bad idea.

Re: CHICKENFOOT

Here's a few pics. Sorry about the quality.
Lots of light from the stage, and as usual, Sammy took the stage and left Joe his little corner. LOL

I'll have better pictures after the Houston show. FRONT ROW!!!

Re: CHICKENFOOT

I went to last nights Atlanta show. They had several cameras filming the show. It was a great show. The whole band played great.

Re: CHICKENFOOT

What was that Les Paul looking thing with the red neck?

And yeah, Chad sure did throw out a ton of sticks at Beantown Monday night! Fun show.

I wish Sammy had played guitar more though. Especially since his tone sounded better than Satch's!

A Satch cover would have been cool too.

Re: CHICKENFOOT

The 'foot rocked the house in H-Town last night.

Very good show. The venue holds around 3-4 thousand folks, and keeps everyone right there with the band. There was a definite love affair between the audience and the band. Just freaking awesome to see a band play so well, and have that seemingly 1-on-1 connection with each audience member.

They seemed to really enjoy playing their songs for us.

Great, great show.

The opening act, Davy Knowles and the back door slam, was also very good.

check them out as well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmahU...eature=channel

If Chickenfoot hasn't come to your town yet, go get your tickets. You won't be disappointed.

Why? He's doing what he always wanted to do. Be in a vocal-oriented rock band.

Re: CHICKENFOOT

Big Bad Moon? That song should have been an instrumental. The lyrics are horrible. Chickenfoot is better than the last Satch solo album by far.

Re: CHICKENFOOT

You can't really compare Satch's instrumental stuff to one of his few vocal oriented songs to Chickenfoot. To compensate for his vocal "prowess" on BBM, Satch makes his solos much more prominent than the leads in CF. It's an instrumental song that he pasted some lyrics on top of. Sammy's a much better singer by comparison and more suited to be the "lead voice" in a song.
FWIW, I like the direction, but I would still like to see a few more instrumental albums.

Re: CHICKENFOOT

When I first heard Joe and Chad were forming Chickenfoot, the only thought going through my head was "please Sammy, don't f*** up a potential good thing with your love lyrics". Well, I listened to a couple tracks from their My Space page when the disc was released; sure enough, Sammy generated some of the lamest lyrics in rock history. I burned the CD from Rhapsody to at least give it a fighting chance. Aside from Joe's tone and Chad being able to go off every fourth tune or so, it's a very disappointing stab at what could of been a great album. I would of liked to hear more experimental jams. Not radio friendly pop. If you want to hear Chad go off, listen to him playing on Glenn Hughes latest release. Incredible disc! Oh well, just my two-cents. I'm assuming there are others that totally agree with me.

Exactly. Is like apples and oranges. Or as Vai would say, "Apples and Beef Yogurt".
