Crossroads Guitar Festival DVD or CD???

Does anyone know if Steve Vai's performance from the Crossroads Festival on June 6 (and hopefully the rest of the show too) is going to be released on a DVD or CD set? There were so many cameras there that I thought for sure they were planning on releasing a video of the event, but it's been a month and a half since the show and I still haven't heard anything.

Also, I know that Sirus satellite radio was broadcasting the show on one of their digital channels live... Are there any recordings from them available? Thanks for reading, and for any information!

I guess they may release it one day, but I wouldn't hold your breath for Steve's set, at least not all of it anyway...

After Vai performs, the Camera pans across the audience, where I and my friends were standing.

Just awesome! Ive always wanted to be "caught" on a concert vid.

Re: Crossroads Guitar Festival DVD or CD???

yes it was his birthday that day, he played whispering a prayer and i think giant balls of gold as well probably one more song too. I believe he only got 20-25 minutes since he was the 2nd person to play. I heard from some radio stations and other people throughout the day that he was supposed to come back and jam later with somebody but I think the storm that came later and the fact that people like james taylor and a few others played waayyyy past their allloted times ended the chance for that. I read a funny lil interview section about him and jeff beck backstage in some recent mag.

As far as I know, the other songs he played were Giant Balls of Gold and Whispering a Prayer, but I could be wrong...pretty sure he played WaP though.
