Deep Purple/ Joe Satriani/ Thin Lizzy 2004 tour

I was just on the Meadowbrook website (a venue in NH) and they a concert date for DP/ JS/ TL!!!!! I have heard no talk about this yet, but I do believe that is true. The Date is August 13, so they would tour near the end of the summer.

Got my tix for the NH show. I wish Joe was headlining...

What's Deep Purple done in the last 15 years? (It's a serious question, I haven't paid any attention since Perfect Strangers.)

I don't know what Purple has done in the last 15 years, but I've seen Steve Morse half a dozen times and he is just great to see, a phenomenal talent (and a really nice guy). I'd go just to see Morse.

DP's latest album (Bananas) is not great but their other 2 albums with Steve Morse are very good and Steve himself is phenomenal.

Also look out for John Sykes in Thin Lizzy.

I've just borowed a live cd by thin lizzy , and i was kinda blown away! They have very nice solo's, nice vocals and just ... well... rock and roll baby !

Great show, great seats, great weather, great venue. Even Thin Lizzy was pretty cool. I was pretty disappointed that Joe didn't come out to jam at the end of the Purple set.
