Dragonforce is on their 2nd leg for Ultrabeatdown. Show in Omaha tonight and get to take my 10-year-old son to a meet and greet. Can't wait to meet Herman Li. You think he's got an old beat-up E-Gen he wants to give away?

thats awsome especially your son,hope you's have a super awsome time,but i must admit im not keen on dragonforce or herman li.have a nice time though all the same.

The show was awesome. Got to meet the band. My son was on stage with ZP (singer) during TTFAF at the end. Got signatures and a boatload of guitar pics. Quite a memorable evening. Herman is a great guitar player and watched him upclose. The guy really does play that well and fast with tons of tricks. The egen is a beautiful guitar. Wish I could afford one cuz he wasn't giving one up.

Herman DOES play all his licks quite accurate and very much up to speed.. When I saw them in Royal Oaks last year, He didnt miss a note.. Sam did though..

I dont understand all the negativity towards him.. The guy can play.. Maybe, he is not in the leagues of the greats but he has his chops right and thats what counts..

Maybe you saw him on a good night I saw him at the House Of Blues in San Diego in 2006 and he and Sam were drunk off of their asses and well lets just say that Herman's playing wasn't so precise.

I saw Dragonforce in concert last year, they were one of the "opening" bands for Slipknot and Disturbed. Prior to the show I didn't have a very positive opinion about Dragonforce, not for the reasons that some people do, but because I don't really like the ultra fast singing. When they came on stage I was shocked to see a vast majority of the very large crowd go nuts for them. I was even more shocked when they put on an amazing show. I couldn't believe how good they were live. My brother has all their albums and is a huge fan so I take a listen now and then. Herman is an amazing guitar player, I'd love to get an E-Gen, it's a gorgeous looking guitar.
