Dream Theater & Symphony X

Im planning no going to see Symphony x headlining a show in july and then dream theater possibly with symph x opening in aug ( i think )..

should be a good summer for concerts.

Yea Symphony X are supporting them for the US leg of the Chaos in Motion Tour.

I've already got my tickets to see them in Newcastle on the 9th June. Some band called To Mera opening for them. Cant wait tho.

Yeah they are both playing here as well in a festival called GODS OF METAL. It'll totally kick ass, and Sabbath is headlining it.

No they aren't -- although, that would be amazing. Symphony X will not be on the US tour. Redemption and Into Eternity, whoever, they are, shall be with DT. Symphony X comes to Cleveland July 20th while DT comes in Aug.

Gutted i thought they were :P

I bought Tix for Symphony X by themselves at The Pearl Room in the south suburbs of Chicago.
Can't wait, they are always great live.
I also can't wait for the new album to come out.

I just got 4 tickets Center stage Row 15 for $195.00.
I just couldnt see paying $300.00 for front row for 1 ticket.

That just seems a bit excessive on DT's part.

What a great show!
They opened with three songs from Paradise Lost, some Oddesey music ran into 'Sea of Lies', then 'The Oddesey', Good lord, what a show.
Russel was making some pretty funny remarks about the venue's name (Pear room) he kept using a pirate's voice and joking about being in the black pearl, argghhh you have to be there. They were in great form last night. One MAJOR thing I noticed, was Michael Romeo...NOT playing his usual ESP M-II... Nope, anyone know what he's playing? CAPARISON ! It looked just like his white M-II but the Caparison headstock was a dead giveaway.

All in all, a great show and a good time, they had the crowd in their hands.
