Extreme on tour

Extreme is playing 3 shows at the end of June/beginning of July. Details are on Gary Cherone's website. Maybe more, who knows?

OK, "on tour" is likely a stretch, but it is the original lineup.

Re: Extreme on tour

Ok, I know loads of people are going to say "Let it go!" and "This band belongs in the past!" but I never got chance to see them when they were together because I was a kid with no money.

So I'll take what I can get thank you very much, I just hope they come to the UK sometime!

Re: Extreme on tour

Is the whole band playing together? Also which Drummer? I have seen them play several time and hung out with Gary, Pat & Mike, which they were all really cool guys.

And what is going on with DRAMAGODS, CD was avalible in Japan, now finally in the states, but no air play on Xtreme Radio, just info on my space

Re: Extreme on tour

I'd love these guys to come to the UK again - If Motley crue can reform then why can't these guys

I don't even know what happened with DRAMAGODS but Nuno is still a big influence in Japan (loads of guys play N4s still) I picked up the CD while I was over there earlier this year, but haven't found anything about them really, Nuno doesn't seem to have much luck in these new bands he's in so maybe this is exactly what he needs

Re: Extreme on tour

I have the Dramagods CD, it's okay, no cartwheels though, I think I bought it on de bay from Korea or somewhere, it was a reasonable price though.

III Sides is one of my favorite discs ever. We saw them in a large club on the WFTP tour and in was one of the best shows I've ever seen, great live band!

These are supposedly one-off shows, so unfortunately no "tour". Nuno is focusing on Dramagods for now, you can find more info on these shows and the DGs at www.dramagodsfans.com.

~SWEET~

Ya gotta love Nuno

Though unlikey, a tour would be great. They would probably have a better turnout than they realize!

Extreme has been one of my favorite bands for a long time, I've had them and Queen in my car most of the time lately. I found a video of the medley of Queen songs they did at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert and it was incredible! It's a shame these guys got lumped in with the rest of the early 90s hair metal bands, they were definitely above the majority of them (at that point in time probably about all of them).

Re: Extreme on tour

Is Nuno going to be playing with them? Otherwise, there would be no point in going.

All "ORIGINAL" members

Nuno is a GREAT player, but one member doesn't make the whole band

Re: Extreme on tour

Sorry to disagree but in this case Nuno being absent from extreme is like going to see Steve Vai without Steve Vai.

Re: Extreme on tour

Well, Mike Mangini is a great drummer but the band suffered when Paul Geary left as well. You need the 4 original guys to have the whole vibe. the left album without geary was like falling off the quality cliff.

Re: Extreme on tour

I saw Extreme live a couple of times, they were great. I doubt they'll make it to the UK though

I agree - Extreme without Nuno is not Extreme
