Nope.
The venues are typically very small, so most of the time you can wait by the buses after the show and talk to the guys if they're in the mood. Satch and Petrucci obviously were not that night.
But Paul came out like he normally does and was super cool to everybody.
A kid I know was there and his Mom waited for him outside (she didn't want to pay for a ticket for herself) and she got to meet Paul, Bruce Bouillet and some other guys after their set while John and Satch were playing. Of course, she was about the only one outside at the time, so it was easy.
Like I said in my previous post I got to meet
Mark Tremonti
and Toshi Iseda. I got to meet Paul and got a pic with him, too. I also got to shake hands with Johnny Hiland! There was an insane amount of guitar talent at the Nashville show, both on and off the stage.

Awesome, waylay
This is one of the best / pics / reviews I've seen!!! (how the hell did I miss this thread?
)
It was a great show and a LOT of fun here too. Only thing I disagree with you on is your saying that JP was the best. I thought he souned great the "very" few moments he slowed down. Speed isn't everything, JP
Paul gets my nod in this one, but they were all excellent!!
Thanks for the great pics and review.
Oh yeah...how did you snag JP's setlist??

Ha, thanks for the comments. PG could have been having an off night where I was, and JP could have been having a stellar night, or vice versa at your show. I used to think the same of JP, but he's earned new points in my book.
Regardless, they were all great, as you said!
When JP's techs were removing some of JP's stuff after his ste, all I did was simply walk to the stage and ask if I could have the setlist, and bam, then I have it.

Ha ha! You were the only person in the whole venue that thought of it, eh??
good man! Maybe you should have asked for his guitar
I'll have to remember that, but they don't treat you so kindly around these parts when you walk up on stage. (even after the show) Last time I tried it, I got tossed out by three gorillas

Re: G3 2007: Nashville Review
I guess so, LOL. Same thing with our seats. I just saw that no one was going to be occupying those front row seats, so I said to myself, "what do I have to lose?". Instant front row seats at no Club Joe price...
This is reminiscent of what I experienced when Petrucci played (minus the stupid guy screaming in the video...)
