G3: Satriani, Vai, Petrucci - Australia 2006

Steve will be joining Joe Satriani and John Petrucci for a long-awaited G3 tour of Australia in early December. Check back for exact dates. (from vai.com)

(Sorry guys, but I just LOVE bringing that up... It was waaaaaaaay too cool.. NO word in the English dictionary can describe the level of EXCITEDNESS I felt that day! Gahh.. Steve Vai = GOD! )

I saw that on Satch's news email and prayed they would come to Washington. That will be a good show.

I've seen vai before, i've never seen johnson or petrucci (well.. DT only) and i'm not a big fan of vai.

They will post the dates and times of the performance. They haven't updated the site yet.

From Joe's fan mail:
G3 shows for South America and Australia are set: John Petrucci, Eric
Johnson and I will play S.A and Mexico in mid October. Australia will
see Steve Vai, John Petrucci and me in early December. Check
satriani.com for exact dates.
