I'm going to Steve Vai!!!!!!!!!!! (Seattle, sep 15th)

I booked my tickets last night. My wife & I will be flying to Seattle for a visit to see my Aunt and the three of us will be going to the show Saturday night.

I can't wait... this will be my first time going to see Vai.

Does anyone have a heads up on his play list and band members for this tour yet?

Inzane if you go to vai.com and check out the tour dates, each one has a link to reviews made by people who went to see each show.

Only person I recognised on the line up was Dave Weiner on guitar, the rest of the line up were all really good musicians though, including 2 violinists.

Sounds like you got a good trip planned, hope all goes well, the show will be great!

Thanks. I actually just found those reviews the other night. It served to get me even MORE excited!

Its just too bad Billy Sheehan won't be there. I've never seen him perform (in person), but on the G3 Live In Tokyo dvd he's a real hoot!

Same here. We're in the "level 2" seating (the 'red' section on ticketmaster's seating diagram, which looks like a lower balcony?), on the far right.

Well that would still mean abandoning my wife & aunt if I did that. (might be worth it still though...).

Maybe next time. Do they do something similar to the EVO tickets for G3 tours?
