They've said that before too... they'll get sick of retirement and record again, at least that's what I put my 10 cents on.

Yup, I'm there too in December, let's have a Jemsite meeting point where we'll have a beer, then get back to rocking the night away.

Re: Iron Maiden World Tour

I'd love to see 'em, havn't seen them since around '90 or '91 when Anthrax was supporting at Wembley Arena, with Joey Belladonna still on vocals. That was an awesome show. 2 bands i loved.
I'll have to check out the dates see if they're heading this way. Would be very cool to see them back in the UK though.

And as a point of interest related to above discussion, i know a relation of Steve Harris'. And didn't Nicko and Adrian Smith support the mighty Spurs? I seem to remember them sporting sweatbands to that effect in true '80's fashion.

Re: Iron Maiden World Tour

I like trivium, and caliban.

BUT, to say trivium will outplay them, is a sweeping statement. Maiden are in a class of thier own, no one can touch them, ever.

Iron Maiden are the best.

See, an hour in MY country, is, like, NEXT DOOR.

Meant only the best, bro - Maiden & Priest were my heroes back in the day. They're why we had a 2nd guitarist in my band, despite the fact that he annoyed the hell outta me...

I know you meant the best dude. Yeah I've heard that you guys in the states seem to do more travelling than us Brits.

Personally I kinda hate driving after a while.

Maiden still have the same finesse and energy on stage as they ever did, they slay all this new wave of modern metal. Heavy Metal - Iron Maiden/Judas Preist

UP THE IRONS !!!
yep I'm going to Sheffield, got my tix today, 3 of us going from work.
None of us seen Maiden before, always missed em.
Could only get seated tix near the top at the back as well (boo hoo)
Still it will be one to remember for many years to come i'm sure.
would rather be up the front with the rest of the loony's,
saying that I'm 36 now and my long locks have long gone so maybe not.
But still they say if its too loud, you're too old.
NEVER TOO LOUD in my book.
out of the 3 we span a broad age group anyway,
29,
36,
and John the old man (well into his late 40's, he's mad on all things rock as well, satriani, vai etc)

just goes to show Maiden always have and always will
Appeal to All....
