Used to like them but so predictable set lists. Like listening to a cd when you watch them.

I know the words "Jovi" and "rock", just not sure I've ever seen them together.

Re: Jovi to rock Sunderland

I always enjoy watching Ritchie play...i heard him described by steve vai as a "fiery player" ... I think there is some serious talent, determination and resilience in that band...not always my cup of tea but again Ritchie's playing and singing keeps me engaged when I get a chance to watch them play...i also think tico is a great drummer...most people don't really appreciate him until they see him live and then you will see how solid he is... They are survivors in a tough industry and its not like they need me to defend them but I do sometimes think that people are to quick to criticize....IMHO

Re: Jovi to rock Sunderland

They composed awesome hits in the 80's and 90's, after 2005 I stopped listening to their new albums cause they changed to a pop kind of music I don't like and Ritchie started to play the same penta boxes always, his technique haven't changed a little beat since the 80's and his solos(after 2005) sound all the same but still I like all their albums before 2000 and I've been playing in Bon Jovi cover since the 90's.
