Thumbs up

Just got back from Mudvayne...

Wow, what can I say. Just got back from Mudvayne's show at the docks in toronto and it kicked major a** as always. This is about the 4th or 5th time I've seen them live (my favourite band). Trivium, In Flames and Shadows Fall were also there. We missed the first part of the concert because we went to 102.1 the edge and met Ryan and Matt from Mudvayne. I also met Corey from Trivium later on at the show. It was just such a kick a** night I had to tell someone about it! I got a big mother of a bruise on my back and a bloody nose from the pit!

I would love to see In Flames live, but the metal band that I REALLY want to check out live is Lamb of God.

Nice! I've liked everything they've put out so far. I think they all are very talented.
I'd go see them live.

Re: Just got back from Mudvayne...

I saw most of those bands at Download Festival last month. Shadows Fall were absolutely awesome (as always), and they always perform a great set. Their lead guitarist Jon Donais is awesome. I saw Mudvayne too, werent too keen on them to be honest, but their sound was poorly setup.

As lyconxero said, Lamb of God are awesome. I saw them at Download Festival too. They were absolutely brilliant.

Re: Just got back from Mudvayne...

Lamb of God are probably the best or most promising band at the moment within the metal genre. For me anyways. Mark Morton and Willie Adler have got some awesome riffs in their library! They are soooo good live too - which is always good to have. They are probably better live actually.
