So I went to the Poison show last night at the "Tweeter center" in Tinley Park, IL. I hafta say, all the bands I saw were really good and sounded as good as I've ever heard.
Faster *****cat opened the night ( I missed them they only played 25 minutes ) then Winger, the band sounded great. Reb did the 1st guitar solo I've seen done in a while, which made me realize why noone does em anymore. Reb is great, but its so passe' anymore. Cinderella had EVERYONE on their feet from the 1st drumbeat. They serisouly sounded great ! Tom Keifer sounded just like he always did and did it the whole show, and they had to come back for an encore which I didn't think was scheduled, but none the less, they kicked all form of ass.
Poison was poison, they have a lot of energy and put on a good show.
Not to mention the women they brought up on stage that flashed the crowd via the big screen monitors... NICE
Oddly enough I only counted a handful of mullets on the guys, most everyone had short hair or very LONG hair no much in between.
I really felt the mullet was under-represented this year, pity.
Anyone else see the tour?
