J Satch rocked the house - its the first time ive seen him live and i enjoyed it even more than i expected to! My girlfriend liked his show too which i didn't expect.

There was a long wait through some support acts that weren't to my taste - such as; 'voice of rock' Glen Hughs... I didn't know who he was before i saw him and i hope i never see or hear him again.

One big slip up on my part; as part of this GTARanaki 'festival' that went on in New Plymouth over a few days included a guitar exhibition in the local museum which had a load of Ibanez guitars including the surfing with the alien guitar. I only found out about this exhibition the day after the gig while watching the news on TV... By which time it was all packed up. Gutted... I would've loved to have seen the exhibit but didn't know about it until it was all too late. Unlucky.

Can't wait to see Joe live again! Whenever that'll be...

He's coming to my city in September, although I haven't bought tickets yet.

What was his setlist like? Was it a lot of his "classic" stuff, or mostly the new album?
