I'm going to see Satch in Amsterdam on the 14th; I'll post a review here before you guys catch the shows in England.
I'm looking forward to it, I just hope the new album is more like CP or FIABD than EOC...

Satch's style is very much as per the G3 video and the Live in San Francisco video.
I've been at shows where everyone stayed seated (at the Royal Albert Hall) and where they rose up from thier seats to crowd the stage (NEC) and where we all free standing anyway (Hammersmith Apollo)
Recently he seems to have played Chromeboys all the time, I'd like to see him use some of his more unusual guitars. He brought a JS4 and JS5 on tour for G3 a few years ago, but I think his Donnies stay at home with Black Dog these days, where they're nice and safe

That'll be downstairs, the circle is upstairs. Row K puts you 11 rows back so pretty good tickets. I'm centre seated in row 7.

The Chirstmas fans webcast showed some shots of a special prototype Ibanez JS 7 string which a lot of the new album was supposed to have been recorded on. I'd very much like to see that out on the road!
