Summer Festivals and various other outdoor activities

Summer is almost upon us, and as a result there's going to be several lovely opportunities to spend a day or several days in a field lying in grass and/or rolling in mud listening to bands.

Is anyone going to any? I know I am going to Wacken(Germany, in august) and to Graspop(Belgium, July)

Dream Theater are playing at Graspop, and they were really good last time I saw them there, so I am looking forward to that, which makes me wonder if anyone is heading to graspop to see them as it looks like it's there only show there.

I may be going to ozzfest for ozzy/zakk/slayer but don't know yet.

Dynamo looks out because of the lack of bands and days(only 1 day, not worth travelling for)

So, Is anyone else going on travels to any of these, or are there some I have missed out that people are going to? If so, I'd be more than happy to meet somewhere for several beers...

I might be going to these-seems like a good idea.

Wake up
Dress for Metallllll!
Drink
Stand around in the mud and rain watching METAL, while drinking
Drink
Collapse in tent

Wake up...
etc.

I might be convinced to trek across the water for a little metal-mud-fest but I may also be keen to go to Osmondfest in May

Cheers

Simon

not a bad line up for wacken, but I guess I'll spend a large part of it inebriated again, like last year. But Doro's playing, as is UDO, which should provide much cheese and entertainment!!!

Here's the line up for two festivals, both have their moments, and both have the usual "hang around the beer tent and get slaughtered" bands as well

Graspop looks like having more top prog bands with symphonyX and dream theatre, but both look good.

Here they are (in not much particular order)

Wow so many metal bands in one place !!!

Grasspop DOES look good... Slayer, DT...Wacken isn't bad either (Children of Bodom, Kreator) but i don't think i'll be up for more than one festival this summer...
