Song writing was interesting for me. I wrote almost every song on bass guitar first. Then programmed some drums and then laid down rhythm tracks and guitar melodies. Lastly was leads, which are almost all one-off improvs. Writing this way really changed the direction of my music and I like the direction it took. For recording. Everything was done direct into my Mbox and mixed in ProTools. Except the drums. They were tracked in another studio by the drummer and he sent me the tracks via the internet to mix at my place. I have never met the drummer. Just communicated via phone/email.
