a quick copyright question or two

i just finished co-writing and producing an album with a friend of mine who is a rapper. We will be copyrighting the songs this week and releasing our album on my label, Lovetron Records.

couple of questions:

1. Some of the beats and ambience i used was Acid Loops stuff. How do i give credit to them or do I have to give credit to Acid Loops when copyrighting the material?

2. What form do i use when most of the songs have two or more writers?

thanks

Robbie

Where did you get the Acid loops?

If, for example, you purchased a CD of loops, there should be some sort of license agreement that came with them. Generally, when you buy a collection of samples like that on CD, they're provided royalty-free, which means by purchasing the CD, you have a free license to use them as you wish, and they do not need to be credited. But if somebody custom-created loops for you, then they shold be given credit.

I'm not sure about your second question. The U.S. Copyright Office might have the answers.
