Wow.. His music is incredible. Perfect combination of shred, metal, blues, and progressive rock.

What album is this song off of?

Re: a video of Alejandro Silva

The song is his contribution to the Ibanez Army CD/DVD released last year by Ibanez local distributor, Fancy Music. See www.ibanezarmy.com for details.

Alejandro is really incredible, when you see him live you don't believe they're not playing the record! His technique is really up there with ANYONE.

BTW, since we're checking out chilean players, I'll let you know when they upload the Claudio Cordero tune, another phenomenal player (and my current guitar teacher )

What pickups are in that guitar? Stock? If not, which DiMarzios can get a sound close to that? I kind of like that tone

RE: The pickups. From what I can see, they look like stock. I'm basing it on the logo on the pickups.

Thanks for sharing this vid, nice playing.

Re: a video of Alejandro Silva

The video is "guitar-sync'd". I don't know if he actually used that one...Most likely, he recorded that with his main guitar, a severely modded and beaten up Jem 7BSB with Gibson pickups.

Nice tune, fun to listen to and the band is very sharp. The video does look a bit like an Ibanez commercial though

Actually, it is! It's from the Ibanez Army DVD, released by Fancy Music, the local Ibanez distributor. Everyone in the Ibanez Army (Chile's endorser group..AFAIK the world's only group endorsement deal from Hoshino) contributed a tune for a CD/DVD Combo. Pretty good stuff! Plus my GF was the producer, nice work huh?

Re: a video of Alejandro Silva

Yeah, great work if you can get it! I think the song would be better if they redid the keyboards or tossed them altogether, but that band has talent no question about it. They certainly seem to have what it takes.
