Just got back in...I only stayed through the second set..nice original stuff..killer versions of Tom Sawyer by Rush(I heard the drummer say between sets that it was the first time they nailed it) and Electric Eye from Judas Priest..if you ever get the chance to check out what Alex is doing these days, jump on it. He's way beyond the typical metal shredder stuff he did in Testament..ok, I've had five beers on an empty stomach..going to bed...

I saw his trio a while back too - it's enjoyable stuff, though I don't think his jazz playing is that well formed yet. It's a cool show to see though, if only for watching the Testament metalheads at a jazz gig...
